As of September 2023, that video has 517 million views. Her August 2019 video, "Get Abs in Two Weeks", went viral after other bloggers and vloggers tried the workouts depicted therein. Originally, her content discussed fashion and travel, but by 2017, her channel became entirely focused on fitness. She started posting videos from March 2016, when she was 29 years old. ![]() Ting began her self-titled YouTube channel in 2011 while she was still working in statistics. She has published a thesis on financial markets and was a Presenter & Chairperson at the Australasian Finance & Banking Conference. Prior to starting a YouTube channel, Ting worked as an actuarial analyst. Ting is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and later obtained a Master of Philosophy from the same institution. Ting was born in Brunei and moved to Melbourne, Australia at age 16. She is known as the most subscribed fitness content creator on YouTube, and for her workout programs, particularly her "Two Week Shred Challenge" which went viral on TikTok and YouTube during the pandemic in 2020. It always ends up eventually registering it as a workout based on my heart rate! I do like having a specific challenge/schedule to stick to because it forces me to work hard on days I really am not feeling it.Chloe Ting (born 9 April 1986 ) is a fitness personality YouTuber based in New York. If you don’t think that is a workout, my apple watch will tell you otherwise. I take daily walks (weather permitting) around the neighborhood, and often play Just Dance with Zoe. Whatever I am feeling like that morning, trying to alternate what areas of the body I am focusing on or doing all over/cardio. I usually do a variety of Popsugar, Walk at Home, Pamela Reif, Madfit, XHIT. I am not sure what my plan is going forwards. I am happy with my results, and I definitely think that her workouts are effective. While I don’t have the abs pictured above, I didn’t expect them after only 2 weeks. Overall, considering the fact that this is a free program, I highly recommend it. A lot of fitness youtubers are in their 20s and what works for their bodies, doesn’t necessarily work for someone who is older. She obviously knows her stuff, because look at her!!! I like the way the workouts are set up, and she has a timer going for each move, and lets you know what is coming up next in the bottom corner of the screen. It was a little repetitive and by the time I got to the last set, it was all modified because…just no.Ĭhloe Ting herself is energetic and motivating. There was one day I did up and down planks like 5 times. I do feel like some moves are repeated several times in the same workout video, and over the few you do in a day. ![]() It forced me to do a lot of moves I usually don’t do. I hate mat work and body weight exercises, and that is the majority of this workout. Me personally, I prefer to do weighted workouts. You don’t need any equipment at all for them, just a mat for back support. Each workout had me sweating and huffing and puffing. You usually do around 21 moves for 30 seconds each. I will continue to add in her workouts in my rotation, even though I pretty much hate every minute of it. Like I said, I did see some changes pretty quickly. I did this challenge to try and see what happens if I did focus on that area for awhile. My stomach is all kinds of stretched out from pregnancy and I will probably never have defined abs. The fact that I was able to FINALLY break my plateau over the 2 weeks and lose 2 pounds is great!Īlso, even though I do work out a lot….I don’t typically focus on my abs. I feel like some of the people who saw crazy results had made a lot of changes in their diets. I was already working out five days a week. The thing is, I was already eating low carb and healthy. While I don’t have crazy results showing off amazing defined abs, I am happy with the challenge. My measurements only changed 0.5 inches around the smallest part of my waist, all my other measurements remained the same since I took them over a month ago. Over the course of the challenge, I lost 2 pounds and do see a difference in my abdominal area. Me personally, I work out Monday-Friday and so I stuck to that schedule. You can alter the rest days to fit your needs. There are 2 active rest days and 12 scheduled workout days.
